Sherpa Khumbiyila Adventures is a Kathmandu-based, Sherpa family-run business. Born in Everest region and being the second generation in Tourism industry, our motive is to serve the traveler with not only a trekking or expedition experience, but also a true cultural and social experience.


WHAT WE DO
We arrange tours, treks and expeditions for individuals or families as well as larger parties such as schools and businesses, serving delicious food and providing accommodation and guidance for each trek. Short treks can be designed and arranged per the traveler’s request, though at least a two-week trek is suggested for an optimal experience

Cho Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world at 8201 m. above sea level. Cho Oyu lies in the Himalayas and is 20 km west of Mount Everest, at the border between Tibet and Nepal. Cho Oyu means "Turquoise Goddess" in Tibetan.
Mt. Ama Dablam is located in the Khumbu region of eastern part Nepal. The main peak is 6,812 metres (22,349 ft), the lower western peak is 5,563 metres (18,251 ft). Ama Dablam means "Mother's necklace"; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier thought of as the Dablam, the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women.

MERA PEAK 6476m
Mera Peak is a mountain which lies in the Khumbu region of Nepal. At 6,476 metres, it is classified as a trekking peak. Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal, which can be climbed without pre-mountaineering experience because technically Mera Peak is not difficult to climb.
