I completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek this past Christmas (2025), departing from Kathmandu, and I cannot say enough good things about SKA Adventures. From the very beginning, Nima and Tsering were incredibly helpful and kind - clearly explaining the itinerary, logistics, costs, and answering every question I had along the way. Communication was consistent and thoughtful, and they took the time to tailor the trek specifically to my schedule and budget, which made the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. My guide, Bil Gurung, was absolutely incredible. As a female solo trekker, feeling safe and supported was very important to me, and Bil exceeded all expectations. He was knowledgeable about the region, paced the trek perfectly, checked in with me regularly, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. He also took some wonderful photos of me along the journey, which I truly appreciate. We shared many great moments on the trail, and trekking with him was an absolute joy. SKA Adventures truly made my trekking experience in Nepal unforgettable. They clearly value safety, work with experienced and attentive guides, and genuinely care about their clients having an amazing experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would absolutely trek with them again.

I cannot recommend highly enough this incredible Himalaya guiding business. It is run by a family born and bred in the Everest region and they give 100% bespoke guidance ,assistance ,taking huge care of their clients before during and after the trip in the most humble constructive and helpful way. They have taken my daughter on two high altitude climbing trips, one of my business partners up Everest ,Nima has stood on the summit of Everest eight times by way of reference and now have taken myself and one of my business partners on a two week guided trek to the Khumbo Valley with time in Katmandu. 100% safe, appropriate and would not dream of putting ourselves in the hands of anyone else. I would recommend SKA Adventures to everyone planning a trek to Nepal!!! We did the Langtang Valley trek with SKA Adventures in Fall 2025 and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I cannot recommend SKA Adventures enough! We were a group of 5 trekkers on the Langtang trek for 8 days with SKA in Sept/Oct 2025. Our guides, porters, drivers, and support staff in Kathmandu were generous, kind and extremely professional, arranging every detail we could have imagined. We experienced a significant weather event on our trek, resulting in landslides, road and trail closures, but the SKA team responded quickly and effectively to ensure our safety and well-being and to anticipate any hiccups. They also reached out to our family members abroad to provide reassurance during this stressful time. They were able to provide advice on trekking gear, altitude medications, hotel reservations, tourist destinations in Kathmandu. They assisted us with our visa preparation, park passes, everything! Tsering and Nema (SKA staff), Bill and Dorjee (guides) and Robin and Amrit (porters) were also just a lot of fun to spend time with, and we spent lots of hours talking, singing, laughing and enjoying meeting these truly wonderful Nepali people. More than just a mountain trek, being immersed in the culture and traditions of Nepal was a delight due to the careful work of SKA.
