Langtang Region is marvelous attraction for tourists. One can set out this trek; drive out from Kathmandu to Dhunche either by local or reserved bus. Approximately 6 to 7 hours drive. The Langtang Goshaikund trek is one of the popular and most beautiful trekking in Nepal. “Kund” refers to a lake in Nepali language. There are 108 lakes in the area.
The Annapurna trek begins at Besisahar in the Marshyangdi river valley and concludes in the Kali Gandaki Gorge. Besisahar can be reached after a seven hour drive from Kathmandu. The trail passes along paddy fields and into subtropical forests, several waterfalls and gigantic cliffs, and various villages. Annapurna Circuit has often been voted as the best long distance trek.
This extravagant high region includes the Poon hill , famous view point ,from where entire Annapurna range can be observed , and some of the famous peaks including Annapurna I, the first 8000m peak climbed in Nepal. The trek passes proceeds through scenic, deep valleys, lush rhododendron forests, scattered villages over high ridges and ascends the narrow gorge of the tumbling Modi Khola.
Ghorepani trek is one of the short treks in Nepal which offers Annapurna panoramiv view. The trek is ideal for those who can afford short time but aspire to embrace the nature beauty and the magnificent view of Himalayas of Annapurna region. The main attraction of this trek is the visit to Poon Hill (3210m) from where we can enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range.
